Conference Provocation: Novel Ideas

The 2026 “Novel Ideas” English Language Arts Conference is an exciting opportunity for educators to reignite their passion for teaching and breathe new life into their language arts programs. The conference will explore innovative approaches to literature, writing, and language instruction. Attendees will be introduced to dynamic, research-backed strategies that engage students, foster critical thinking, and enhance creativity in the classroom. From incorporating technology to exploring new genres and diverse voices, the conference will provide fresh, actionable ideas that empower educators to invigorate their teaching practices and inspire a new generation of readers and writers.

Conference speakers will be eligible for an honorarium and a reduced conference fee.

The deadline for speaker proposals is Tuesday, November 25th, 2025.

Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, December 5th, 2025 and asked to confirm participation by Friday, December 12th, 2025.
