As part of ELAC’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to professional learning opportunities, ELAC will sponsor 3 teachers who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color with $500 to attend our bi-annual conference. Winners will be chosen by a random draw.

Grant Applications are due March 1st, 2026, with successful applicants being notified March 4th, 2026. Please contact us at elacteachers@gmail.com with clarifying questions.

• what you hope to learn at the conference.

Please note: Participants will be responsible for paying any fees over $500 including the balance of accommodation and transportation. Participants will be reimbursed upon submitting a brief (500 word) reflection on their experience at the conference. Reflections may be published online, in a journal, or on social media.
