To support beginning teachers in their first steps into their professional learning journey and developing a robust professional network, ELAC is committed to sponsoring 3 beginning teachers of English Language Arts with a $500 grant. Winners will be chosen by a random draw.

Grant Applications are due March 1st, 2026, with successful applicants being notified March 4th, 2026. Please contact us at elacteachers@gmail.com with clarifying questions.

• your name
• district
• teaching assignment
• what you hope to learn at the conference.

Please note: Participants will be responsible for paying any fees over $500 including the balance of accommodation and transportation. Participants will be reimbursed upon submitting a brief (500 word) reflection on their experience at the conference. Reflections may be published online, in a journal, or on social media.
